Do You Suffer From The "L" Word?

Catchy subject right!?! The "L" word I am referring to isn't "Love" either, although I'm sure that some of us have suffered or maybe are suffering from that one :-) The "L" word I'm referring to here though is "Lazy". Sometimes we take for granite the things we have learned, and we get used to doing things a certain way. Or we get distracted. Then when we think we've got it down, we lower our guard. If you are working from home, I'm sure you are aware of just how easy it can be to become Lazy. We do some of the chores we need to do some of the time or we'll even do some chores one day, then another on the next and before we know it we're falling behind, and getting the results we did when we first began, and then wonder what am I doing wrong? Don't fall into this trap, it can be a killer! Stay focused, and keep doing the things you should be doing, and keep learning. Then as you gain more experience through learning you will be able to add chores to the ones you are already focused on, and it won't be any harder.

My point is here, if you are going to work from home you need to treat your business like it's a business and it will pay you like a business. Treat it like a hobby, then you'll get paid like it's a hobby. If you can do that, and you can stay away from the dreaded "L" word. You will find the satisfaction that you want so bad!

Do you know why I decided to choose a business that I can work at home? It is important that you know why you are doing what you are doing. Maybe you want to quit your job, maybe you want to have a nice vacation, maybe you just want to be able to provide things for your family that you otherwise may not be able to afford. Whatever that reason is Everyone has one and it is a passionate one as it has to be, it stays with you daily, it's called your "Why" I like to say, because it was brought into perspective for me in my learning experience from peers, and believe me I'm still learning, and have much more to learn. Why do I do this? Here is my number one "Why", and I have many as I imagine you do too:

My father (Arlen K. Flick) has Parkinson's Disease, and I help my mother(Colleen V. Flick) to take care of him. As you can imagine I would NEVER be able to do this if I wasn't able to work from home. I don't want you to feel sorry for our families situation, but to realize your "Why"! It has to be passionate, emotional, with you daily, enough that it makes you want to cry, just make sure you know that these reasons can feul you if you want it bad enough. It's a very powerful thing!

Hurricane Katrina And My Friend

I had the really good fortune today, to hear from a good friend of mine that lives in Metairie, LA. I met him through a business opportunity that we were in together. He went through Hurricane Katrina and is still going through the effects that Katrina has had on all of those people down there.

After talking to Gerald (I call him Jerry) today he told me that he put up a blog about the experiences that he went through and is going through, along with some pictures of the kind of damage that went along with the hurricane. Words Of Inspiration

Today, I thought I would share this email I recieved From Michael Starr Reed the CEO of Global Domains International, with words of inspiration, that really had an impact, and thought you might be able to get the same effects as I did. This mentality will work for whatever business you are involved in, but this happens to pertain to my GDI business. Enjoy:

Are you familiar with the term "social proof"?

Social proof is a psychological phenomenon in which people see others behaving in a certain way, and therefore assume that behavior is an appropriate mode of behavior; or when they see people they esteem approve of something, they themselves will
approve of it.

Celebrity endorsements of products is a perfect example of social proof.

However, you don't have to be a celebrity to use this phenomenon to your advantage in marketing GDI.

The only way they were able to do this is by relaying their excitement about GDI to the people they were sharing the opportunity with.

Remember that you have full control over your own thoughts and feelings. You CAN make a decision to get excited. It's amazing, but your attitude is 100% controlled by YOU.

And by just making the decision to get as excited as you can possibly be about the opportunity you have with GDI, your ACTION, and your INCOME will increase exponentially.

posts that have little or no responses from ebay
sellers.

This signifies LOW competition ... this is key!

One method is to copy and paste the want-it-now
data from the html source into a spreadsheet
program like Excel and sort the list.

Yup ... as you can imagine that is NOT easy!
